Assemblyman Andrew Macurdy is proud to represent New Jersey's 21st Legislative District. Assemblyman Macurdy previously served as a state prosecutor in Hudson County and federal prosecutor in Newark. He also served as a Senior Counsel to the New Jersey Attorney General, where he worked on statewide public safety initiatives to combat gun violence and reduce auto theft, and designed the Arrive Together co-response program pairing police officers with mental health workers to respond to crisis calls, which has been adopted by dozens of police departments across the State.

 

Born and raised in New Jersey, Andrew lives in Summit with his wife Ellen and kids Jack (4) and Maeve (2), and he is a graduate of Harvard Law School.
